Hallie Sawyers is the founder of Soul Song, offering training in a wide spectrum of complementary care alternatives as well as a premium line of handcrafted personal care products. A well known and respected educator with extensive training in energy work and bodywork, her mission highlights creating transformation on personal and professional levels through quality education in alternative approaches to prevention and wellness.
Hallie has been practicing massage therapy since 1995. She is Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and licensed in Connecticut and New York State. She is an instructor for Finger Lakes School of Massage in both Ithaca and Mt. Kisco, NY and an adjunct faculty member for the New York Chiropractic College within the Bachelor’s in Professional Studies Program. She is also the Outreach Vice President and Education Outreach Chair for The Labyrinth Society. She is an approved continuing education credit provider for the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and her CE courses are offered through Finger Lakes School of Massage as well as the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy.
Beyond therapeutic massage, Hallie is proficient in a wide variety of other bodywork and energy work modalities including hot stone massage, Reiki, holistic aromatherapy, polarity therapy, Integrated Energy Therapy, reflexology and labyrinth work.
Individual appointments, lectures and training in the above modalities are regularly scheduled in New York, Connecticut and surrounding areas upon request. Curriculum for all classes is portable and can be tailor-made for massage schools, licensed healthcare professionals, lay people, organizations, or corporations wanting to introduce the benefits of these healing modalities to consumers or staff.
